The Prenatal Series is the BIRTHFIT version of the best childbirth education classes ever! Bringing a child into the world can be a woman's most empowering experience, or it can be full of fear and unknown if we aren't proactive in preparing our minds, bodies, and souls. Take steps with us to create an amazing transition into motherhood. Moms must bring their birth partner (someone who will be "their person" during birth).
The Postpartum Series was BIRTHFIT's original series! It is an eight class, four week series that will establish a solid core foundation, wake up your posterior chain, and enhance your posture through safe, effective functional movements that transfer into every day life tasks. As a bonus, you will meet and connect with other mamas as well as discover new and local businesses that can help new moms out. We respect the postpartum period. These classes honor and strengthen your body, and are appropriate for any fitness level.
This series starts with breath work and evolves into full body functional motor patterns. You will establish a solid core foundation, wake up your posterior chain, and enhance your posture through safe, effective movements that transfer to any activity in our daily lives. Our top three words to describe this class would be BREATH, BODY, and FLOW.
The class will be 45 minutes in length for four weeks in a row. You will be also be given movement homework to practice. So, come ready to move and connect with the BIRTHFIT Tribe. Non-mobile babies are welcome.
